Summer Lovin'

Tess here today for one last share for the February challenge. There is still time to get your project uploaded to be in the running to join us as a guest DT member for March.

I haven't had a lot of time to scrap at the moment but scraplifting is always a great way to get the mojo flowing and pages scrapped.

Summer Lovin'

I have used a few of the Words or Whatever chipboard and wood veneer pieces to pull this one together, but love the result.

Just in case you missed it, here is Heathers layout that the scraplift is based on.

The DT girls have done a wonderful job this month. If you miss February, the challenge for March will be up soon and we cant wait to see how you interpret it.

Keys to the Past - Michelle O'Driscoll

We have been coated with snow and ice up here in the most North Eastern point of North America.
As I type we are having another melting session only to have more on the way! I usually get a bunch of crafting in but caught the flu this season and it hung around for too long! Now, that it has cleared the flu not the weather!!!

I have this months page for you. I have had this picture tucked in with this Close To My Heart "Bliss" Paper Pack for awhile now! These papers were perfect for this lift. and the photo is a heritage one following Heather's lead. It had tape on the edges and my Grandmother's writing on the back in pencil. So, this was something I really wanted to add to the page. I got the photo enlarged and adjusted the color a bit. Made a copy of my Grandmother's writing on a tan cardstock. From the lift I used the cluster in the left corner below the photo and placed my journaling and title similar. I placed a little journaling spot sideways so I can add either the date, which I am researching or the street address for the house that my Grandmother grew up in.

Unique & Special You - Kathleen White

Good morning everyone and welcome back! Kath here today and I have just returned from a vacation. I must say I have had better. So, with that said, I am ueber happy to be home and at my craft table! This is the month of love so what better subject than a bride and groom. This is my lift from February's xoxo Scrapbooking challenge.

I lifted the the framing of the picture and rotated it 90 degrees. I also lifted the floral arrangement with the bling. This is such a lovely sketch isn't it!

Please join us this month for your chance to win next month's special guest spot. Thank you for stopping by to see what we have been up to.

It's a Small World

Kimmy here with my lift of Heather's page. Funny how sometimes when you scrap lift someone your page ends up looking completely different. I turned my title sideways, but kept her layers and the label on the right side, moved the floral element to the top corner of my photo instead of the bottom left where she had it.

I used a kit from Cocoa Daisy to make this one, and the title are lyrics from the "Small World" song… it's running through your head now isn't it?

February Scraplift Challenge

Well, hello friends!  And welcome to the February Scraplift Challenge.
Let's start off with the layout you will be challenged to lift . . . "Just Lovely"!

I have been doing a lot of heritage scrapping lately of my grandmother.  I am really enjoying how they are all turning out.  I must admit though, the biggest challenge for me is using the patterned base paper.  I have a really hard time with that, especially the ones with words.  So I used the words as part of my title.  Can't wait to see what you create when lifting this layout.

Ok, and just for fun, I created this Minion valentine card for my boys!  Totally stole this from pinterest because it is so stinking cute and my boys love the move "Despicable Me".

Thanks for joining our Design Team as we start another scraplift challenge for the month of February!  Be sure to check back throughout the month to see how other members of the team lift this layout.  Don't forget . . . we can't way to see what you create!!!  Be sure to link it to our blog!
Keep scrapping . . . signing off . . . Heather
